ROYAL ENFIELD LUBRICATION & WRENCHING ARCHITECTURE

Royal Enfield spans three distinct powerplants: the air-cooled 349cc J-series single (Classic 350, Hunter 350, Meteor 350) specifies SAE 15W-50 JASO MA2 with an internal paper element, bottom strainer plate, and screw-and-locknut tappets inspected starting at break-in (500 km). The 648cc air/oil-cooled 270° twin (Interceptor 650, Super Meteor 650) upgrades to a spin-on filter and SAE 10W-50 JASO MA2 synthetic oil, while the liquid-cooled DOHC Sherpa 450 (Himalayan 450) runs a semi-dry-sump dual-evacuation screen layout on SAE 10W-40.
